This mixed-methods study found that people with opioid use disorder (PWOUD) were equally highly satisfied with hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment delivered via telemedicine integrated into opioid treatment programs compared to in-person referral, with 98.3% and 98.7% reporting satisfied or highly satisfied at each timepoint. Key drivers of satisfaction included communication, trust, and patient-centered care, with participants valuing empathy and trust over accessibility and convenience. The findings support telemedicine as a viable, patient-centered model for delivering HCV care to vulnerable populations.
