This study identifies a novel aggregated lymphoid nodule area (ALNA) in the abomasum of Dromedary camels, structurally and immunologically similar to intestinal Peyer's patches, which has not been previously reported in any other animal or human. The ALNA is most developed in pubertal camels (3–5 years) and regresses with age, with both IgA and IgG antibody-producing cells distributed throughout the gastric lamina propria. These findings suggest the camel stomach serves not only a digestive role but also functions as an important immune organ, providing immunomorphological evidence for the camel's strong disease resistance.
