This study examined how different water salinities (3, 5, and 7 ppt) affect the growth and survival of blue bream (Ballerus ballerus) larvae compared to freshwater controls. The best growth was observed at 3 ppt salinity, with larvae reaching 64.1 mg and 22.6 mm, while survival remained high across all groups (83.2–98.6%). These findings suggest blue bream larvae can tolerate salinities up to 7 ppt, which has implications for their conservation in increasingly salinized inland waters.
