This scoping review identified 46 technological tools used to assess dietary intake in children aged 0–9 years, with most tools being web-based, self-administered, and based on 24-hour dietary recall. Nearly half (47.8%) of the tools were validated, with direct observation being the most common reference method. The review highlights a shortage of such technologies in low- and middle-income countries, with only one tool identified for Latin America and one for Africa.
