This study isolated 107 endophytic fungi from the Amazonian medicinal plant Arrabidaea chica and screened their extracts for antimicrobial and antioxidant activity. The fungus Botryosphaeria mamane CF2-13 showed the strongest antimicrobial activity, particularly against Staphylococcus aureus and Candida parapsilosis (MIC = 0.312 mg/mL), while Colletotrichum sp. CG1-7 exhibited potent antioxidant activity (EC50 = 11 µg/mL), comparable to quercetin. These findings highlight the potential of A. chica endophytic fungi as sources of new bioactive compounds for pharmaceutical applications.
