This qualitative study found that the EQ-5D-5L with skin irritation and self-confidence bolt-ons has good relevance, comprehensiveness, and comprehensibility in adult atopic dermatitis patients. Skin irritation was the most relevant dimension, and most patients found both bolt-ons relevant, though social relationships and stigma were identified as potentially missing concepts. The findings support the use of these bolt-ons in atopic dermatitis, but highlight areas for further refinement.
