An exploratory cross-sectional study using qualitative interviews and PEMAT-P scoring with five healthcare providers at a children's malnutrition clinic in Egypt found that nutritional deficiencies (rickets, underweight, kwashiorkor, and failure to thrive) were the most common conditions, and barriers to care spanned physician-centered, health system-centered, and caregiver-centered categories.
