This study evaluated the reproductive toxicity of an aqueous extract from Chrysobalanus icaco leaves in pregnant Wistar rats. The central result was that the extract, at doses up to 400 mg/kg, did not cause maternal systemic toxicity or adverse effects on reproductive outcomes or fetal development.
