This retrospective cohort study analyzed factors for regaining complete oral intake in dysphagic stroke patients with feeding tubes upon discharge from rehabilitation wards. The central result was that younger age, initial stroke, higher swallowing and cognitive function scores, better nutritional status, and a shorter acute care stay were significant contributors.
