A mixed-methods secondary analysis of the UPAVAN nutrition-sensitive agriculture trial in rural Odisha, India found that interventions were more effective in cooperative households with adequate resources, and that interventions increased women's decision-making power, though this did not always translate to adoption of promoted practices due to persisting resource constraints.
