This cross-sectional study analyzed 2015–2016 Demographic and Health Survey data from Malawi and Tanzania to determine the prevalence and sociodemographic factors associated with male involvement in family planning decisions. It found that involvement was 53.0% in Malawi and 26.6% in Tanzania, with factors like age, education, and media access being significant predictors.
