This cross-sectional pilot study of 26 office workers used body-worn sensors to measure movement behavior during work and leisure. It found that the number of posture transitions during work was significantly higher in workers reporting musculoskeletal discomfort, and that transitions during leisure were negatively correlated with body mass index and heart rate.
