This analysis of three national surveys found that while acute respiratory infection (ARI) prevalence in Ethiopian children under five decreased overall, consistent high-prevalence clusters remained in northern Ethiopia. The study identified household use of biomass fuel for cooking and not initiating breastfeeding within one hour of birth as significant spatial predictors of ARI.
