This cohort study compared 66 women with PCOS to 66 controls and evaluated several anthropometric indices. The central result was that the visceral adiposity index (VAI) and waist circumference (WC) were strong predictors for PCOS, while waist circumference (WC), lipid accumulation product (LAP) index, and body roundness index (BRI) were strong predictors for metabolic syndrome (MetS).
